We provide auditing
and strategic planning to protect online web applications,
related network infrastructure and electronic brand
assets. Our two core services Ambersail Assured and
Brand Assured have been developed to secure client networks
and control how businesses are being represented online.
Our industry accredited
security audit and monitoring solution - Ambersail
Assured - combines a constantly updated vulnerability
testing platform with security experts to ensure that
clients get the latest threat protection and best advice.
Our vulnerability
testing and monitoring platform is located at a highly
secure, co-located facility in the North of England.
Originally used as a bombproof NATO operations centre,
our secure, scalable solution comprehensively audits
thousands of networks across the world.
Ambersail's audit
methodology follows standards set by the Payment Card
Industry, external bodies such as OWASP and internationally
recognised frameworks such as ISO 17799.
Complementing Ambersail
Assured is a state-of-the-art monitoring system - Brand
Assured. This is able to rapidly and comprehensively
search the Internet to deliver accurate and targeted
information on an organisation's brand. It extends to
combatting fraud - detecting fraudulent use of brand
names or logos and early detection of "phishing" emails.
Our services are used
by a wide range of businesses. These include financial,
retail, leisure and government based clients. Examples
include Halifax Bank of Scotland, Littlewoods Shop Direct
Group and Central UK Government.
Network security and
ecommerce fraud are continually evolving. To ensure
that we deliver the highest quality services, our staff
are selected on their technical and professional ability
to work directly in the most demanding of situations.
We also spend a great deal of time working with associated
groups and our people are actively involved with industry
bodies and initiatives such as the PCI (Payment Card
Industry) Data Security Standard, Free Software Foundation
Europe and UK Government organisations such as CESG,
SOCA and NISCC.
